These are the world's smallest wireless headphones

The size - and shape - of an earring. These are the Nova H1s, self-defined as the world’s smallest wireless earphones and the only ones that can be worn all day without any inconvenience.

The Nova H1 are earphones that are embedded in a freshwater pearl, according to the German startup Nova.

In addition to their reduced dimensions, one of their main features is that they visually appear to be earrings placed in the lobes of each ear, but with headphone capacity. In this way they allow you to listen to music and make phone calls wirelessly.

Each earphone/earring is composed of a nine-millimeter bead that houses all the electronic components inside, while the battery is embedded in the back. Its approximate weight is seven grams.

According to the company it is a device that takes into account the needs and tastes of some women. “We solved a problem that many women face: juggling earrings and headphones, hair and, lately, the face mask,” he explained.

Directional sound

Nova explained that the devices are equipped with the technology called Directional Sound, which sends the sound outputs from the earlobe directly to the ear canal.

This prevents audio loss and allows the user to maintain the privacy of their conversations or the music they listen to.

The device offers a battery life of more than three hours of active use and features a portable charging case that offers up to 20 additional hours, as well as iOS and Android compatibility.

The company launched a co-funding campaign for the product in February 2021, offering a 40 percent discount for users who reserve the device.

When it hits the market it will be available in silver and gold versions at an approximate price of 500 and 600 euros, respectively, about $600 and $700 dollars at current exchange rates.
