Nokia 8.3 5G arrives in Spain: these are its official prices and availability

Despite the withdrawal of the MWC, Nokia and HMD presented one of their most important mobiles of the year: the Nokia 8.3 5G, the first of the brand to incorporate such connectivity. And now, months after that announcement, it is finally available for purchase in Spain and other markets.

This is a mid-range cell phone that integrates Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 processor, which provides support for 5G connectivity by integrating the necessary modem. Its design is notable for the prominent rear camera module, which, as we have seen traditionally in this brand, has the ZEISS touch in its optics.

The blue by flag in a module that is already less conspicuous

The Nokia 8.3 5G has a blue back with a glossy finish and with what seems to be reflections of various tones, although this module that in its launch stood out so much now, after months, is not far from what we have seen in other mobiles with triple and quadruple camera. It is aligned to the center and is circular, like the one of the POCO X3 NFC or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 4G, seeing in this case the front camera hole in the left corner of the screen.

Talking about the screen, it is a 6.81 inches panel with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), with 20:9 aspect ratio. It does not integrate the fingerprint reader, which remains on the side. It does not include a fingerprint reader, which is located on the side.

5G and ZEISS optics

As we said in the introduction, perhaps one of the most important parts of this mid-range mobile is the Snapdragon 765, since it gives the title to the Nokia 8.3 of being the first 5G mobile of the brand. As for the memories, there is an option of 6 and 8 GB of RAM for 128 GB of local storage, with the option of expanding it up to 400 GB by means of a microSD card.

That weight of 220 grams that we mentioned is also due in part to a battery of 4,500 mAh, although as the mobiles are accommodated in the large screens and volumes are increasingly frequent figures close to 5,000 mAh. The fast charge is 18 W and has a mini audio jack.

As for photography, the Nokia 8.3 5G carries a total of four rear cameras with those ZEISS optics, being:

  • Main camera with 64 megapixel sensor and pixel bining (16 megapixel photos)
  • Super wide angle camera with 12 megapixel sensor.
  • Macro camera with 2 megapixel sensor.
  • Depth with 2-megapixel sensor
  • Front camera: 24-megapixel sensor.

The Nokia 8.3 5G can record up to 4K and has native HDR. In addition, they have also added an action camera mode, promising to be able to take pictures in demanding situations.
