How to unlock The Flash skin in Fortnite

Throughout Fortnite’s history we got numerous licensed characters in several different franchises, including Ghostbusters, Deadpool, Kratos from God of War, Master Chief from Halo and more. Recently, The Flash’s version of Barry Allen was added to this saga, along with many outfits and accessories to acquire. However, it’s not entirely clear how to get your hands on the new gear. Here’s how to get The Flash skins in Fortnite.

How to get the Flash skin in Fortnite

The first thing you need to know about Flash items is that you have to buy them in-game using V-bucks. There is no way to unlock them otherwise, so hopefully you have enough money to acquire them. When you enter the Item Shop, as of February 26, 2021, you will have noticed that there is a large number of The Flash accessories that can be purchased, so take a look!

As is the case with most Fortnite masks, these will only be available for a limited time, so you’ll need to act fast.

You can earn V-bucks by leveling up your Battle Pass. Every few levels, you’ll get 100 V-bucks at no additional cost, so you may already have some lying around. If you still don’t have enough, there is the option to buy them with real money.

As always, 1,000 V-bucks is equivalent to about $8 dollars. Go to the V-bucks tab in the main menu to see the different packages you can buy, including the following:

  • 1,000 V-bucks: $ 8

  • 2,800 V-bucks: $ 20

  • 5,000 V-bucks: $ 32

  • 13,500 V-bucks: $ 80

The Flash, the package: 2,200 V-bucks

  • The Flash: outfit

  • Speed force: back bling

  • Speed force cutters: pickup tool

  • Speed bite: emote

  • My name is Barry Allen: loading screen

This is the all-encompassing package with all five Flash elements, including the outfit, a back bling and other cosmetics.

The Flash - 1,500 V-bucks

  • The Flash: outfit

  • Speed Force: back bling

However, if you’re just looking for the outfit itself, this will be the most affordable option. It also includes a back bling.

Quick Bite - 400 V-bucks

  • Quick Bite: emote

You can also get just the Quick Bite emote.

Speed Force Cutters: 1200 V-bucks

  • Speed Force Cutters: Pickup Tool

If you only want the pickup tool, you can also take it individually.

It is unclear if these items will return after they leave the store today. Generally, with Fortnite cosmetics, accessories disappear forever when they leave the store, although there are some exceptions to this rule.

To be on the safe side, we recommend you go grab these items today if you’re really interested and don’t leave it to chance.
