Amazon Luna comes to Android (and these are the compatible devices)

Luna, Amazon’s video game streaming platform, has finally arrived on Android. Two months after its debut, the service announced its availability on devices with Google’s operating system.

When it was launched in October 2020, Luna was only operational for Fire TV, PC and Mac, as well as on iOS phones and iPad tablets.

Now, however, Jeff Bezos’ company announced support for 21 devices from Google, Samsung and OnePlus.

For now, here is the official list of compatible models:

  • Pixel: 4XL, 4a, 4a 5G, 5

  • Samsung: S10, S10 +, Note 10, Note 10+, S20 5G, S20 + 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, Note 20

  • OnePlus: 7, 7 Pro, 7 Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro, Nord, 7T, 7T Pro, 7T Pro, 7T Pro 5G

Anyway, the company advanced that it is working to incorporate other devices to the platform.

Requirements to use Luna on Android

Users must run Android 9 Pie or higher and have a minimum internet speed of 10 Mbps. In addition, they must have Chrome browser version 86 or later on their device.

As with the iOS version, Luna for Android is not a native OS app, but rather a progressive web application (PWA) or browser-based program.

Luna is a cloud-based video game service with 100 titles available for a $6 monthly subscription. At the moment, the platform is only available in the United States.
